  • Sorry but I don't have pre temps for this but both the manual and auto TD42's ran identical DTS turbos at about the same boost, as well as set up. Pre intercooler temps for the same boost were as the manual TD42. But what you can see is the better quality heat exchanger to go with the 4 core intercooler dropped the intake temps approximately 5C more if you take ambient into account. Thus utilizing the intercoolers abilities better. (You get what you pay for)

  • Fuel on both the TD42's was adjusted to bring AFR's back to the pre inter cooled levels. As the colder denser air leans out the post intercooler AFR's.

    Colder air means denser air, denser air requires more fuel, more fuel means more power
